STOHLMAN, Barry and Laura

Laura and Barry Stohlman

Barry and Laura Stohlman have been married for 30 years. They have eight children and two grandchildren, and are members of the Catholic lay community, Communion and Liberation.

Barry has a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Catholic University of America, and Laura a degree in Political Science from the Università Cattolica in Milan.

Barry owns Stohlman-Kilner Construction and Renovation Company, and is a cabinet maker and a master craftsman. Laura works in admissions at the Avalon School in Maryland and also runs a summer English program for international students, AmeriGo-DC.

They both love farming and organizing an annual pig roast for 400 people at the end of every summer.
