Michael Patrick

Michael Patrick is a founding partner of Patrick and Anderson Partners in Architecture, providing architectural services for Ecclesiastical and Residential projects. With his business partner Eric Anderson, Michael focuses on the central role of the family in home and church, and the continuity of tradition and the Christian community throughout place and time.

In their practice Michael brings to bear his extensive experience of the churches of the Christian Tradition in Rome and surrounding areas. He has helped to lead the Rome Term for the College of St. Thomas More (Texas) for the last nine years , and is Chairman of a Symposium on Church Architecture to be held jointly between The Catholic University of America and The University of Notre Dame in the Fall of 2009.

In his career Michael has been a Design Director in Architecture and a firm-wide Practice Area Leader in the Education market sector for the Washington, DC office of Gensler, and Director of Architectural Design for the Atlanta office of Leo A Daly. He has also led the design of projects in New York, Boston, Dallas, and other major cities.

He has master planned and designed College and University Facilities, a new Government Center, Airport Terminals, a Hotel and Conference Center, Cultural Institutions, Healthcare Facilities, Commercial Buildings, and Single Family Residential Projects among other building types. Michael currently teaches design studio at the School of Architecture at the Catholic University of America in the Cultural and Sacred Space Concentration.

He is LEED™ accredited and works with his business partner as a consultant in the sustainable design industry.
