HOROWITZ, David

David HorowitzDavid Horowitz is a composer who began playing piano at age 3. As a young adult, he played with Gil Evans and Tony Williams, and later became Composer in Residence at the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C.; he also arranged albums for Peter Allen, Carol Hall and others at Elektra Records.

David wrote music for choreographer Twyla Tharp, and film compostiions for Anais Nin and for a number of European features.

Through his music production company, David Horowitz Music Associates (DHMA), he has scored thousands of spots, creating memborable tracks in almost every style and genre of music.

His work has earned numerous awards and prizes, including seven Clios for Original Music.
